Bridget Kelley, Assoc. AIA

Bridget Kelley serves as a designer on the BKP team while she pursues her master’s degree in architecture at Temple University. Armed with dual undergraduate Bachelor of Science degrees in art history and math from the same institution, Bridget enrolled in graduate school to further her love of creating experiences. Her interest in architecture stemmed from her study of art, understanding of narrative, and awareness of the power of one’s surroundings.

Bridget’s emphasis on narrative and visualization in her education led to her embracing the tools of design, especially rendering software. At BKP, Bridget’s background and inclination for research led her to a natural crossover into technical documenting and details. LEED understanding and documentation were among the first skills she honed at BKP. Her artistic background and perspective enable her to create project renderings and other visual tools that help clients and community members better understand complex design solutions. Bridget hopes to become registered within the next three to five years.

Bridget lives in the Fishtown neighborhood of Philadelphia. In her free time, she both rides and tinkers with her motorcycle. Taking it apart to understand how it works became an equally satisfying pastime as going for rides. She’s also a movie buff and an avid reader with interests in history and non-fiction.
