Rosemont School of the Holy Child Campus Development
The master planning project redeveloped four parcels in Lower Merion Township into a new campus for the Rosemont School of the Holy Child. The plan outlined renovation and expansion of existing facilities in order to improve campus organization and draw attention to the historic Horace Trumbauer-designed mansion in which the school was founded. Plan components included removal of an outdated gymnasium and replacement with a new gym and artificial turf field; design of a new academic wing; renovation of the mansion into administrative offices; creation of a welcoming forecourt; and preservation of green space that has become the “front yard” of campus. BKP designed the project in collaboration with Richard Conway Meyer Architect.
