GBCA Curtainwall Makes News
published October 4, 2017
The General Building Contractors Association (GBCA) makes its home in a 1961 former bank building on 18th Street in Philadelphia. GBCA engaged BKP to perform a variety of building upgrades, including redesign of the aging and deteriorated facade. Completed earlier this year, the curtain wall replacement lends transparency and improved street presence to the building. The glazing community has taken notice of BKP’s GBCA Curtainwall design concept and execution by Eureka Metal & Glass Services, Inc. The Architectural Glass Institute, Philadelphia’s labor-management organization representing union glaziers and glazing contractors, featured the project in a recent case study. Glass news website, GlassOnWeb.com also picked up the story.
